All this week you’ll have a chance to meet some of the amazing employees and their pets from CareFirst Animal Hospital‘s Oberlin clinic. I teamed up with the clinic for a gallery display featuring four of their employees. The gallery and mounted prints are now up at the clinic! I’d love to hear from you if you see them! Yesterday we featured Liz and Twiggy. Today, meet Hattie Mae and Charlie and their mama Amanda.
Hattie is a spunky, out-going pre-teen. She has the most adorable play bow and even though she is small, she is a year old and nearly full grown! Amanda says Hattie Mae She keeps her on her toes and always entertains. She describes six year old Charlie as her sweet main squeeze and rock through good and bad times. Charlie was Amanda’s 24th birthday present and he has the cutest big goofy grin.
Hattie Mae was an owner surrender and was in surgery having her broken leg repaired by Dr. Wages at CareFirst when Amanda first saw her. She says, “I knew right away that I wanted to take her home. She was meant to be with me because several other employees wanted to adopt her but in the end she came home with me and I’m thankful everyday (even though she still pees in the house).”
