Leo: 1 year old Great Pyrenees
Diego: 8 year old Australian Shepherd
Diego was chosen by my sister, he was “The One” from the moment she saw his picture online, enough so that we drove across several state lines to pick him up. I don’t think she’s ever been able to describe exactly what drew her to him. Leo is mine. I fell in love with him when I visited
the litter at 5 weeks. He was independent and sure of himself, not pushy or needy. But he was also… I think ‘flirtatious’ is the best word for it, and that is truly what decided me. Even as a stumbling pup, he play bowed and wagged his tail, and he carried his tail in a curl over his back. I knew that he would be my partner, and I was right. He’s smart enough to keep me on my toes, but he is as devoted to me as I am to him. And he is still my happy boy, he has permanent smile lines.
