Meet Henry Alfred Morganti, a five year old English Pointer. Those ears! That smile! Pretty stinkin’ cute isn’t he? He is delighted that his humans Laura and Fabio are engaged and wanted in on all the action of the engagement session!
Laura and Fabio met when they were freshman in college and lived in the same freshman dorm. “In October 1993, Fabio held the door open for me to our dorm and it was love at first sight. We dated until 1996 and always stayed in touch. We reconnected in 2007. We moved to Raleigh in 2012 because we knew Henry would be much happier and have a great life if we moved out of our Boston condo and into a house with a yard and better weather,” Laura says. They are set to marry in October.
Henry would not be a part of these photos without Fabio. Fabio surprised Laura with Henry in 2010. She says “I had lost my previous rescue (Jack, an Irish Terrier) in 2006 and I was heartbroken. Fabio and Henry mended my heart by helping me be happy having a dog again. I don’t think I would have ever been ready for another dog, so Fabio’s surprise of Henry was great.”
Now on to the photos. I was so giddy with excitement when Laura sent me a photo of their gorgeous home! We started off in the wooded area next to their house and I could have photographed them on the porch for hours! Henry is so stunning and I love the happiness this sweet family emanates! And Henry standing on top of Laura? Hilarious! Apparently, that’s their thing! 🙂
