What an awesome family (not just because they are super educated about wine and used to run a wine shop…the humans that is). Jennifer surprised her hubby David with a gift certificate for the holidays! They love their two fur babies and we had the perfect day to shoot in January! Remember that Sunday when it was about 70 degrees? Yes! It was awesome. We headed to the NC Museum of Art and I think everybody else in town had the same idea! But we were able to find a few quiet spots for this awesome family! Thelma Lou is the black and white pointer/Lab mix. I would never have known she is 15 years old!!! She is just so sweet and loving and her age doesn’t slow her down too much. Gomer is five years old and a border collie rescue. He is quite the frisbee enthusiast and I was ecstatic to get some action shots of him (even though it made me want to run out and buy the 75-200 canon lens to get a little closer!) I love the casualness of these photos, especially the last three with the entire family together. The very last photo is actually the “wallpaper” on my brand new 27″ Imac computer and the photo for my 16×24 canvas sample to show to clients. I am hooked on that photo and just LOVE LOVE LOVE it! What a fun and warm January afternoon with a great family!
