Sweet sweet Margot! This adorable pointer (possibly pit bull) mix is TEN years old and has the sweetest little family! Kyle surprised his lovely wife Jenny with a gift certificate for her birthday a few months ago! This was the email she sent me:
“My husband Kyle gave me my birthday gift this morning that was the pet photo session with you! I told him that next to my wedding and engagement rings, this is the best gift I’ve ever been given! I wasn’t exactly sure what it was at first, but as soon as I figured it out I started weeping! He brought together so many things that I love in one gift – him, our precious baby (dog) Margot, and pictures. I can’t tell you have many ‘family selfie sessions’ we have attempted and failed at!”
I couldn’t wait to meet them all in person! Kyle says Jenny and Margot are a lot a like: they are both afraid of storms, like to cuddle, are sweet and hate to be alone. Margot was Kyle’s first love. No wonder he also fell head over heels for Jenny!
We had a wonderful sunlit evening for our session (after having to cancel once because of a storm). My favorites are of Margot rolling over for a belly rub. Well, she didn’t roll over so much as flop her big old self on the ground and demand adoration in the most innocent way! She also did this when I delivered Kyle and Jenny their prints and album. No more failed family selfies to worry about! Now they have these images on their walls and in an album!
