Oh Bailey. Bailey. Bailey! Check out this six year old flat coat retriever. She is an independent pup, very confident in herself and just adorable. I donated a photo session last fall for a local dog rescue and Lindsey’s mom won it in a silent auction! I was so excited to meet up with Lindsey and Bailey on the campus of her Alma Mater, Peace Collage (now William Peace University). Lindsey says, “Bailey and I are very similar, she takes after me. We are best friends, I adore her and she secretly adores me. [We are] both very particular and love spending time together.”
The black and white photo below ended up being one of my and Lindsey’s favorites. Lindsey says her friends give her a hard time and say she “prances” when she walks. Lindsey says she always says Bailey prances when SHE walks! I think we have proof that they both have a little pep in their step! I just love how they look at each other in this photo. Lindsey said it perfectly above that Bailey “secretly” adores her. Bailey kind of gives off an aloof air about her and an “oh mom” face in many of the photos, but you can tell she would never stray too far from Lindsey’s side. They have a great balance of independence and co-dependance.
