Meet Kayla, Shane, Sarah and Suki! I looooove this little family. Kayla and Shane met in high school at the School for the Blind in Raleigh. They’ve been together for six and a half years and are excited about planning their future wedding. We met at Lassiter Mill Park in October (yes, I’m that far behind in blogging!!!). Here’s how Kayla described her pups: “We have had our snuggley sweet schnauzer Suki for 4 years. She is a little diva who loves to have her picture taken. Two years ago we adopted our pit bull Sarah from the SPCA of Wake County. She is a big sweetie who is not as interested in having her picture taken but would do just about anything for a treat.”
Well this particular day, neither dog wanted anything to do with me, my treats, my squeaker or the funny noises I was making. At one point, I was in front of Shane and Kayla and the dogs refused to look at me. So I went behind Kayla and Shane and got one photo of the pups looking and then…yep…you guessed it…they turned back to face forward! LOL They made me work for it. But in the end I like the natural “real-life” feel we achieved with these photos. Shane even chimed in with a few ideas himself. I always love when people share their ideas!
