Oh Athan! What a cutie! This little buddy is a Pit Bull/Dalmatian and possibly something else mix! I could just kiss his furry face all day. Athan is a little unsure of strangers, but it didn’t take long for us to bond and for Athan to allow me to get close, scratch behind his ears and of course share many many treats! I just love all of his facial expressions. He has a special spot in the garden where he loves to hang out. At one point, he got so excited with his modeling skills he started doing zoomies around the bushes and was kicking up all kinds of dirt into my camera bag. Ooops!
Richard and Kaytee clearly love Athan and their pets. They unexpectedly lost their other pup Skye in January. They wanted to have a family photo that included Skye. Here’s what we came up with. Richard has Skye’s Halloween bandana wrapped around his hand. This was such a sweet way to honor Skye and include her during this shoot! It’s so hard losing a pet or loved one. It’s great to have special photos to remember them.
