Simi’s fall session in foggy Richmond – pet photographer

Feb 18, 2014

By now, most of you are familiar with Simi!  Simi was one of my very first clients in Raleigh back in 2011.  I’ve been photographing her ever since!  This year, our annual session took me to Richmond!  Jennifer and Tim recently left ME!  Well, Jenn graduated from some form of school dealing with medicine and she has to wear scrubs.  They are both from Richmond and were lucky enough to both find jobs before the move!

What is most exciting is not the fact that we were still able to shoot on what was a gloomy foggy day, but that they asked me to help them make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!  Wahoo! Simi is going to be a big sister!

I love the cute little shoes mom and dad had with them.  We spent some time brain storming ideas before the shoot and I just love how the different shots came out!  It was a very special way for them to share the exciting news with their family and friends!

PS…how amazing is this big YELLOW tree! Wow!

They used this photo below to make the announcement on facebook with the caption: This summer our family is growing by two feet! This one below is my favorite!  Not that Simi girl will be taking a huge back seat to the baby.  But it will be a new chapter for all of them with a lot of focus on the baby.

But Simi is the first born and let me tell you, this pup is spoiled rotten with love.  I don’t see that ever changing! My interpretation of Simi’s reaction to figuring out the news:  AWESOME!  I’m a big sister!!!

So that means a “baby” is a really big treat right??????

Wait, wait, wait.  It’s a treat, but I can’t eat it?  Well what good is this “baby” to me then?!?

Jenn’s mom also stopped by for a mini session with her gorgeous rescue pup Lucy!  I love this family!  Can’t wait to meet baby H in a few months!!!
