This week’s theme was all about being under the big top! I was really excited about this theme even though I had no idea how I was going to pull it off! But a trip to World Market helped me find some inspiration! I found a cute little felt bag in the shape of a muscle man and a monkey and these great popcorn buckets! I knew Baxter would be the Ring Master (a role his mother once played in her Kindergarten graduation program and hated every second of!). He already had a top hat and just needed a little help growing out his stach! I was hoping to make my tent a little more realistic and do something outside, but at 6pm last night when I nearly forgot to actually execute the shoot, I worked with what I had!
This first photo duo is title the “Creepie Carnie” as Baxter tells the tales of the acts you’ve only heard about but never seen and must be seen to be believed! But would you dare to brave such amazement and danger??
Next we have Baxter moving in closer to the crowd outside the Big Top: “So you want to see do ya? (steps closer) Are you sure? Can you handle what you are about to see?!?! hahaha”
Baxter stands proudly as he prepares to pull back the curtain and let you in! Lily (her bedazzled forehead didn’t quite turn out as planned) has had a long run for the past month performing in world famous acrobatic routine and would much rather eat popcorn than twist and twirl for another night. But ON WITH THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next in the blog ring is Denver Pet Photographer, StinkDog Photos. Love her work! There are just three of us in the Project 52 Blog circle this week…so my friends some love 🙂
