Join me in the SPCA of Wake County K93K to save lives

Feb 19, 2013

There is certainly no place like home and that is the theme of this year’s SPCA of Wake County K93K.  The walk will take place April 20th here in Raleigh and I would be DELIGHTED if you would join my team or donate to the cause!  I walk as a representative of WRAL-TV and in memory of our newsroom dog Tracker who passed away in 2011. He was an SPCA adoptee. I also walk for my pets, Baxter, Lily and my kitty Lacie and in memory of my very first pet and love, Tigger (a very fat, loyal tabby cat).

I will be the emcee again this year for the event and also taking photos for the SPCA and Triangle Dog Magazine. I try to wear as many hats as I can so long as I can do a great job at all of them!

Please consider a donation to my personal page here or you can sign up to walk with Tara Lynn’s Team here. You can even be a “virtual walker” if you can’t make the actual event or live out of town and start your page and help raise money to save lives!  The SPCA of Wake County is a no-kill facility that is staffed and filled with volunteers with some of the largest hearts I know!  There is even a special group of volunteers called the “Pit Crew” dedicated to changing the perception and reputation of “pit bulls” in our community.

Please join me!  The Scarecrow, Tin Man and Dorothy all hope you will!
